ADS and RADX Technologies Showcasing Transform-CV at NI Connect: Revolutionizing Real-Time Q/A with Deep Learning-Powered Computer Vision

April 29, 2025, Rockville MD: Acquired Data Solutions (ADS) is exhibiting with RADX Technologies, Booth 70 at NI Connect from, April 28 – 30, 2025 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. At NI Connect, ADS will be demonstrating Transform-CV, the Company’s COTS Deep Learning enabled Computer Vision (CV) software for Manufacturing / Quality Assurance applications that runs on RADX NVIDIA-based PXIe-GPUs (PXIe version) and PCIe-based systems.

Transform-CV brings the power of deep learning-enabled Computer Vision for Q/A to the NI and PXIe community. Optimized for defect detection, ensuring assembly accuracy, component metrology or a combination, Transform-CV is a low-cost solution that can improve Q/A accuracy and repeatability, reduce operating costs, and boost the productivity of Q/A inspection personnel.

Because it’s AI-based, Transform-CV relies on training, rather than feature extraction and programming, for feature and defect detection. Also, Transform-CV uses third party, COTS hardware and open-standard software.  This combination results in a significantly lower acquisition cost versus proprietary CV solutions. Also, as a learning-based system, Transform-CV enables customer Q/A personnel, without programming expertise, to train and tune the system, eliminating the need to enlist a CV expert for maintenance or updates. These advantages result in a greatly reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)  when compared to conventional CV systems.

About Transform-CV

Transform-CV features a novel system architecture that combines a LabVIEW/G2CPU-based video acquisition and GPU-accelerated GUI with a GPU-accelerated LibTorch-based YOLO (You Only Look Once) Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) that is instantiated as a Dynamically Linked Library (DLL) to perform real-time object detection, tracking, defect detection and measurement. This combination delivers the superior capabilities of LabVIEW for data acquisition, ease-of-use and integration with the industry leading performance of YOLO, all of which is accelerated by RADX PXIe-GPUs (or PCIe Systems) that employ NVIDIA Professional RTX GPUs. Transform-CV is available as a software product for other system integrators, as a turnkey system with integration support and as an add-on to existing PXIe-based Manufacturing and Q/A test systems.

Pricing for Transform-CV for PXIe starts at $25k, which includes Transform-CV Foundation Software for Image Capture, Annotation, Training and Inference, Application Training, a USB HD Camera, a RADX PXIe-GPU-AdaRTX2000-16GB-1SP GPU and an example training set.

Transform-CV is a scalable solution that can be tailored to both end-users and integrators.

“ADS Transform-CV combines the power and flexibility of NI LabVIEW-based data acquisition and UI with YOLO / CNN CV software that’s accelerated by RADX COTS NVIDIA-based PXIe-GPUs,” said Ross Smith, RADX Technologies CEO. “In doing so, ADS has radically reduced the time, cost and programming expertise required for development, deployment and maintenance of CV Systems that can dramatically improve the performance, repeatability and throughput of Q/A inspection tasks. Now, for the first time, even small businesses can afford to deploy a COTS Q/A CV System(s) that are brought to them by their local, trusted LabVIEW System Integrator – who can benefit from their investments and expertise in the PXIe and LabVIEW ecosystem.” – Ross Smith, RADX Technologies

“Transform-CV gives our customers a powerful, cost-effective way to enhance Q/A with deep learning—seamlessly integrated into their NI and PXIe systems.” – Channel Partner, System Integration Company
