The ADS Team has more than a 20 year commitment to supporting underserved and underemployed communities in the DC/Maryland area, and takes pride in being involved in a variety of organizations: Bytes Back, On-Ramps Career, Edge of Yesterday and Hope Connection for Cancer Support.

STEM Career Program

Engaging Young People in Technology Careers

Acquired Data Solutions has partnered with On-Ramps to Careers to create meaningful technology and engineering career pathways for DC’s most vulnerable youth. In total, 700 internships are provided for minority students, over 95% of them African American through the Department of Employment Services (DOES) Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP).

“These motivated young adults will learn brand identification, draft a professional and outstanding resume, use website and video platforms to advertise and market a company, design 3D product models, build their own personal brands to ultimately, land that dream job.”  – Steve Seiden

STEM Learning Program

Teaching Engineering through a Creative Outlet

Acquired Data Solutions MASTERY program is designed to engage young people in STEM careers. In an era of pandemic when traditional education has been upended, the MASTERY program takes a new approach to learning as a natural process.

“It is essential to revitalize our learning process with the hope that the next generation will emerge from this historic pandemic era stronger, more compassionate, and more grounded than before. The MASTERY program comes at an opportune time when many school plans are up in the air and unclear, to provide parents with a learning approach based in science and story-telling to add substance and sustainability to their children’s educational experiences.” – Steve Seiden
