ADS helps government agencies protect critical infrastructure systems and assets, whether physical or virtual. This critical infrastructure is vital to the United States and any incapacity of such systems and assets would have a debilitating impact on security, national economic security, national public health or safety.

ADS also supports the NIST Risk Management Framework which provides a policy framework of security guidance. This framework enables private sector organizations in the United States to assess and improve their ability to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber-attacks.
