Job Summary/Description

ADS is seeking a Hybrid Remote Test and Evaluation (T&E) Liaison Support personnel to support Federal T&E Managers for a government customer in the D.C. metro area. Come join an established team of skilled professionals supporting TSA technologies used to keep our nation’s transportation systems safe. Must be able to obtain a DHS suitability clearance. 

Position includes roughly 10% travel to customer sites in the D.C. metro area and possible travel to domestic airports in support of the Federal Program T&E Manager. Work schedule allows flexibility within the ability to meet customer needs but requires working evenings and/or weekends during busy period.

Responsibilities

  • Providing primary support to the Federal Program T&E Manager to include technical, analytical, administrative (e.g., meeting minutes), and engineering support services at meeting, conferences, technical working groups, engineering reviews, T&E planning and coordination meetings, and document reviews.
  • Supporting development, review, and approval of T&E requirements, plans, and reports, plus supporting the T&E Manager in developing and coordinating completion of T&E strategies and events.
  • Drafting, managing, and tracking T&E documentation, including strategic procedures.
  • Identifying and managing risks impacting successful completion of T&E events.
  • Assessing system readiness to enter formal testing.
  • Participating in DHS TSA T&E meetings, including Integrated Product Team meetings; Staff Meetings; and working group meetings, etc.
  • Interfacing with the System Evaluation Team; DHS Office of T&E; as well as the other DHS agencies/offices.
  • Meeting with stakeholders across programs and organizations to establish communication, obtain information, conduct reviews, and adjudicate meetings.
  • Developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Receiving assignments in the form of objectives and establishing goals to meet outlined objectives through work that is reviewed and assessed as to meeting objectives.
  • Working under general direction on routine work, receiving detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, following established procedures, and providing work for review for soundness of technical judgement, overall adequacy, and accuracy.
  • Exercising judgement within defined parameters, procedures, and practices to determine appropriate action in support of the T&E Manager.
  • Contributing to completion of milestones associates with specific projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to produce results within deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented in support of customers.
  • Fluent with MS Office (Outlook Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience writing technical and administrative documentation to established standards for government clients.
  • Knowledge of DHS/TSA acquisition life cycle, requirement management, policies, processes, and T&E life cycle.
  • Understanding of DHS/TSA organization and processes.
